Lim Soon Hock, Chairman

"Entrepreneur Ambassador, Public Service Stalwart, Technopreneur and Private Investor." Former VP and MD of Compaq Asia-Pacific, who took the company to US$1 billion from under US$30m in 7 years. Currently Founder and MD of PLAN-B ICAG, a boutique corporate advisory firm, Post Compaq, he has been actively involved in taking companies public, M&As and consulting for several global MNCs and promising SMEs.

Soon Hock continues to sit on the boards of several government agencies, public listed and private companies, as well as not-for-profit organisations. He is a Justice of the Peace and is a Volunteer Mediator with our State Courts. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and Technology UK, Academy of Engineering Singapore, Singapore Computer Society, Singapore Institute of Directors and Singapore Institute of International Arbitration.

He has also received numerous awards such as 2009 National Day Public Service Medal and the 2012 President's Awards for Volunteerism from NVPC in the recognition of his work and public service. Soon Hock is also the author of 2 books, which are a collection of his insights on contemporary issues, from his regular submission to the Business Times Views from the Top.
